Producing video content for Harrogate Spring Water:

We have created a variety of videos for Harrogate Spring Water over the past 4 years. They are synonymous with Britishness, hydration, elegance, and iconic styling. The video content we created needed to align with their brand.

THE BRIEF

Our challenge was to capture the Harrogate Spring Water credentials and promote desirability and engagement. Above all else we needed to produce videos that were distinctively Harrogate! 

Capturing 'Brand Harrogate'

We produced a variety of videos to celebrate their partnerships with Ascot, the Yorkshire County Cricket Club, England Hockey, the UCI and the Royal Albert Hall.

We produced both live action and graphics based videos, including our first project for HSW which featured ex England cricketer Darren Gough. 

We filmed the shots with a super slow motion camera, recording 2500 frames per second (normal speed is 25 frames per second)! The video shows Darren bowling and then hitting the ball which explodes on impact with the cricket bat.

Ahead of the 2019 UCI Road World Championships in Harrogate we filmed with Harrogate Spring Water’s Hydration Ambassador and the 2015 UCI Women’s Road World Champion Lizzie Deignan. Creating a series of videos featuring Lizzie, all filmed in Harrogate we shot at a variety of locations and were able to produce some fantastic creative content.

In 2018 we shot a campaign video featuring the HSW #DrinkOriginal girls. We filmed the girls during a photo shoot in London. Shooting on two cameras meant we could quickly jump between gimbal and handheld shots allowing us to work quickly and efficiently. By constantly rolling even when the photography was taking place we were able to capture moments that worked extremely well. Filming in this way enabled us to capture a wealth of footage that could be used for different videos. The girls looked extremely natural on video and captured the essence of the #DrinkOriginal campaign.

We were asked by the HSW team to deliver creative video content that encapsulates #DrinkOriginal. The content was to be used on the Harrogate Spring Water website as well as being used across their social media channels.

Early in 2018 we caught up with three of the England Hockey squad including goalkeeper Maddie Hinch, forward Sophie Bray and defender Zoe Shipperley. Following their success at the Rio Olympics in 2016 and with the hockey world cup coming to the UK later on in 2018 the spotlight was very much on the team. The ladies gave us an insight into what made them the ‘girl-gang’ of the moment! Filming an interview with the ladies for HSW, they discussed all things health, fitness, being part of a team and inspiring others to purse their passions.

Our most recent video was to promote their recycling campaign ‘Twist it, Cap it, Recycle it’. We came up with the concept to produce a silent film style video which will fit in well with the heritage of the Royal Albert Hall.
